The MWS .308 large caliber lower is for the individual that wants a high quality lower but doesn't need all the features of the MARS lower. The LMT MWS lower receiver can be built out with ambidextrous a ambidextrous selector and magazine release, leaving only the bolt catch / release as non-ambidextrous. The ambidextrous magazine release is machined directly into the receiver and are very intuitive. This “stripped� requires the LMT .308 lower parts kit to complete.
LMT MWS lower receivers are only guaranteed compatible with LMT upper receivers. Other brands may not fit or function correctly.
